തിരുവനന്തപുരം: പുതിയ അധ്യയന വര്‍ഷവും ഓണ്‍ലൈന്‍ ആയതോടെ പഠനത്തിന് പ്രയാസം നേരിടുന്ന വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളെ സഹായിക്കാന്‍ ടെക്‌നോപാര്‍ക്കിലെ ഐടി ജീവനക്കാരുടെ ക്ഷേമ സംഘടനയായ പ്രതിധ്വനി രംഗത്ത്. നിര്‍ധനരും ആവശ്യക്കാരുമായ വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികള്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ട ഡിവൈസുകളെത്തിക്കാന്‍ ‘ ഡിജിറ്റല്‍ എജുക്കേഷന്‍ ചലഞ്ച്’ എന്ന പദ്ധതിക്ക് തുടക്കമിട്ടിരിക്കുകയാണിവര്‍. ടെക്‌നോപാര്‍ക്കിലെ വിവിധ കമ്പനികളില്‍ ജോലി ചെയ്യുന്ന ഐടി ജീവനക്കാരുടെ സാമ്പത്തിക സഹായത്തോടെ കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് ടാബ്‌ലെറ്റുകള്‍ വാങ്ങി വിതരണം ചെയ്യാനാണു പദ്ധതി.
വിദ്യാര്‍ത്ഥികളുടെ, പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് ഉയര്‍ന്ന ക്ലാസുകളിലെ കുട്ടികളുടെ ഓണ്‍ലൈന്‍ പഠനം മുടങ്ങാതിരിക്കാന്‍ പിന്തുണ തേടി വിവിധ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സ്‌കൂളുകള്‍ സമീപിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഇവരെ സഹായിക്കാനാണ് ഫസ്റ്റ് ബെല്‍ ചലഞ്ചിന് തുടക്കമിട്ടതെന്ന് പ്രതിധ്വനി പ്രസിഡന്റ് റെനീഷ് എ. ആര്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷം 57 കുടുംബങ്ങളിലെ കുട്ടികള്‍ക്ക് പ്രതിധ്വനനിയുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ സഹായമെത്തിച്ചിരുന്നു. ഐടി ജീവനക്കാരില്‍ നിന്ന് 7500 രൂപ വീതം സമാഹരിച്ചാണ് പദ്ധതി നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നത്.
Techies launch ‘Digital Education Challenge’ to help struggling students
Thiruvananthapuram: Prathidhwani, IT employees welfare organization at Technopark, has launched the ‘digital education challenge’ to support students who are struggling with their studies as the new academic year also goes online. Under this initiative, Prathidhwani plans to buy and distribute tablets to needy students from economically weaker families with the financial help of IT employees working in various companies in Technopark.
“The initiative was launched after several government schools approached us to support students from poor backgrounds to ensure that the online learning, especially of the students of the higher classes is not disrupted,” said Raneesh A.R, President of Prathidhwani. Last year, the organisation had distributed learning devices to students from 57 families. The project is being implemented by raising Rs 7500 each from IT employees and well-wishers.
